Congratulations to North Lincoln for winning the overall Grand Champion award at the first ever BandBEAT competition held in Memorial Stadium in Charlotte.
Other winners were Class A Champion South Pointe High School, Class AA Champion Tuscola High School, Class AAA Champion Northwest Guilford High School and Class AAAA Champion North Lincoln High School

There are over 200 photos from the Classic posted here. The majority are from the set-up, but the first few pages will be devoted to the participating bands. Additional thanks to Kendra Jones' mother and the Coffey's for sending us photos. Most of the other pictures were taken by students during the day. We tried to get as much variety as possible with the participating band photos.
As usual, if anyone else has digital photos they'd like to share or have us post here, please contact me and we will get those on the site.
Congratulations to Tuscola High School for winning the 2005 Carolina Classic Cup! It was a great day of performances with spectacular weather. Thanks to all the bands for participating and we look forward to seeing you next year (look above for the countdown timer for next year's Carolina Classic!!).
An extra-special note of appreciation to all the East Lincoln parents, volunteers and students who helped set up, coordinate and clean up after the show!!!! Your time and help was invaluable and was nothing short of instrumental in making the 2005 Carolina Classic a rousing success!
